Festive season Wall Painting
Want some cool ideas to paint your walls this Festive Season ?... let me share you a DIY easy painting...
1 1. POP Magic:
Start by mixing plaster of Paris in water;
keep the consistency thick, so that it can stick to the wall
-with your hand, apply a thick layer of POP
on one corner of the wall. Before it dries off, give texture with your
“fingers”
Horizontal, Vertical, Lines, Circles,
Anything you want to experiment with.
-Give texture to complete wall and let it
dry.
-Apply a coat of primer and let it dry.
-Paint the wall in your desired color
&get beautifully textured walls.
2. Antique Walls:
Start by painting the wall with your desired color.
-Mix Glaze and
same color paint in the ratio 4:1
-using a roller, paint a small
section diagonally (left to right).Repeat the motion opposite direction (right
to left).
-Let it set for 5-10 min. Wipe
the textured areas with a damp sponge & create antique looking faded walls
3. Sponge Paint:
Paint your wall with your desired color.
-
Make sure the color is two tones lighter that
the one you will choose create texture with the sponge.
-
Mix glazing liquid with the darker paint in the
ration say 2:1
-
Dip the sponge lightly in water & then into
the paint mix.
-
Dab the sponge on the cloth to wipe off excess
paint.
-
Press the sponge onto the wall and twist it.
Leave 1 inch gap and repeat it.
Variety of motion notes can be created to create different
patterns on the wall.
